I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, en'itled

An Ordinance to provide for the registration of Chemists and Druggists and to regulate the Sale of Poisons

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to

the Governor's Instructions

This Ordinance as its title states provides for the registration of Chemists and Drugglets and regulates the Sale of Poisons. It is framed on the basis of the Pharmacy Act 1868 with such amendments

as are necessary to suit local requirements.

It received, generally speaking, the previous sanction of the medical

community in this Colony.
